Lini's little son

Karoline "Lini" Söhnchen (born May 13, 1897 in Witten ; † after 1928) was a German water diver , multiple German champion , Vice European Champion and Olympic participant .

Athletic career

The diver started for the swimming club Neptun Osnabrück and then for the swimming club ABTS Bremen . In the Olympic discipline of artificial jumping, she always started from the three-meter board at championships and was German champion eight times (Neptun Osnabrück 1921 and 1922 and ABTS Bremen 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928 and 1929).

In 1927 Lini Söhnchen took second place at the European Swimming Championships in Bologna . In 1928 the diver took part in the Summer Olympics in Amsterdam and finished sixth in her discipline.
