Linus Weber (born November 1, 1999 in Gera ) is a German national volleyball player .
Career
Weber plays in the youth team VC Olympia Berlin . With the German national junior team, he missed qualifying for the U21 European Championship at the beginning of 2017. The outside attacker played so successfully in the decisive game with 46 points scored that national coach Andrea Giani noticed him. He nominated him for the 2017 European Championship in Poland after other players had canceled due to injuries . There Weber reached the final against Russia with the DVV team and became vice European champion; it was the first ever EM medal for Germany.
