Lionel Baier

Lionel Baier (born December 13, 1975 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss filmmaker and lecturer at the Lausanne Film School . The family has Polish roots on the paternal side. He grew up in a Protestant pastor's family in Lausanne and studied film studies , French and Italian at the university there from 1995 to 1999 . Since 2003 he has made more than ten films.
