Lippo Village Circuit (also known as Lippo Village International Formula Circuit (LVIC)) was a temporary motor racing circuit in the city of Tangerang , Indonesia .

history

The street circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke for the A1GP racing series. The street circuit with a length of 3200 meters and 16 curves was built in 2008 around the university campus Pelita Harapan and the shopping mile in the Lippo Village district of Tangerang.

Since the local promoter and organizers had failed the requirements and deadlines for FIA - homologation to meet was the event from the calendar of the A1GP season 2008/2009 deleted. The street circuit opened in February 2009 with a three-day national racing event.

On February 10, 2010, the A1GP series was announced. The track was then used for some local sporting events. Today there are still some parts of the track in addition to the pit facility, some of which are used for other purposes.
