Lisa Larson (* 1931 ) is a Swedish artist and mainly works as a ceramist .

Lisa Larson studied ceramics at the slöjdföreningens skola art school in Gothenburg from 1950 to 1954 . From 1950 to 1980 she worked at the porcelain manufacturer Gustavsberg , where she was recruited by Stig Lindberg , the artistic director there.

She became known for her lovingly designed figures, made in ceramics, etc. a. the series All världens barn (All Children of the World) for UNICEF , Luciatåget (Luciazug), Skansen and Lilla zoo . The character Pippi Långstrump , who was also loved by Astrid Lindgren, is in great demand by collectors . Former Swedish Finance Minister Gunnar Sträng as a piggy bank was a successful political hit and he had a copy himself on his desk.

After 1981 she worked as a freelancer for, among others, Kooperativa Förbundet , Nordiska Kompaniet and Rosenthal AG . Since 1991 she has been artistic director for the ceramics studio in Gustavsberg. Her own studio was in Nacka .
