Christa Maria Lisa Sounio-Ahtisaari (* 1970 in Parikkala ) is a Finnish entrepreneur, lecturer and branding expert.

Life

Lisa Sounio-Ahtisaari founded the social network for travelers under the name Dopplr in 2007 with the British interface designer and programmer Matt Biddulphin . The American Dan Gillmor, the designer Matt Jones from Wales and Marko Ahtisaari soon joined the team. Nokia acquired Dopplr in 2009. The service ended four years later.

Lisa Sounio-Ahtisaari ran a consultancy and communications agency and has worked as a columnist for various business and design magazines. She became known to the Finnish television audience through her appearance in the Finnish version of the business show Dragons Den .

In 2010 Sounio-Ahtisaari published her first business book on Marken Brändikäs (“Markenfroh”). The work has already appeared in its ninth edition.

Before her career as an entrepreneur, the business administration graduate worked for well-known Finnish design firms in the areas of sales, marketing and product development. In addition to business administration, she studied industrial design and product development at what is now Aalto University , as well as communication and languages ​​at Vaasa University . Lisa Sounio-Ahtisaari lives and works in Helsinki. She spends her free time in the vicinity of her parents' home in the Eastern Finnish Lake District and in the Baltic Sea Archipelago. She has been married to Marko Ahtisaari since 2008.
