Hans Heun
Hans Heun (born April 16, 1927 in Hof (Saale) ) is a German local politician ( CSU ). From 1970 to 1988 Heun was Lord Mayor of the independent city of Hof.
Career
Heun studied economics and social sciences in Nuremberg and graduated with a degree in business administration and business teaching. In 1955 he received his doctorate with the thesis Failures in the manufacture of tableware . He then taught at the municipal vocational school in Hof. In 1968 he became director of the municipal business school.
His political career began in 1960 when he was elected to the Hof city council. In 1970 he was elected Lord Mayor. He stayed in office until 1988. At the same time, he was a member of the Upper Franconian District Assembly and deputy District Assembly President from 1978 to 1994.
