Lisa Willis (born June 13, 1984 in Long Beach , California , United States ) is a former professional basketball player. Most recently she played in the 2009 season for the Sacramento Monarchs in the Women's National Basketball Association and then for the Lithuanian team TTT Rīga .

Lisa Willis played for the women's basketball team at the University of California, Los Angeles until 2006 .

Women's National Basketball Association

Lisa Willis was selected fifth in the 2006 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks . Willis finished the 2006 season with an average of 4.6 points in 13.3 minutes per game. In the 2007 season she played eight games for the Sparks, after which she was transferred to the New York Liberty . In the eight games for the Sparks, Willis played an average of 9.6 minutes per game, during which time she scored 2.3 points. After switching to the Liberty, their playing time improved to 9.8 minutes and their points average to 3.8 points per game. In the 2008 season she was in all 34 games of the season for the team from New York on the field. For the first time she was in the starting line-up of a WNBA team for two games. This season, too, she increased the average operating time and the points average. In 2009 she was under contract with the Sacramento Monarchs team . There she only came on short appearances in two games. These were her last appearances in the WNBA for the time being.

For several years she was also active for clubs in Europe.
