Liselotte Schaak

Liselotte Schaak , also Liselott Schaak , Lieselotte Schaak and Lieselott Schaak (born October 27, 1908 in Barmen ; † unknown) was a German actress .

Life

The daughter of a businessman received her artistic training from Dumont-Lindemann in Düsseldorf and then studied art history in Munich. She received additional acting lessons from Alfred Strauss. With the beginning of the sound film age, she received small film roles. Throughout the 1930s, she had a moderate career as a supporting actress.

She played her most important leading role in 1932 as partner of Hermann Thimig in Mein Freund, der Millionär . In Fanny Elßler (1937) she embodied the title character portrayed by Lilian Harvey , her sister Therese Elßler . After her second marriage in 1942, she withdrew into private life.
