Vigor Lindberg

Vigor Lindberg (born April 26, 1899 - April 28, 1956 ) was a Swedish football player .

Career

Lindberg played for IK Sleipner between the 1910s and the early 1930s . For the club from Norrköping he joined the Allsvenskan after the league was founded for the 1924/25 season . On May 26, 1918, he made his debut alongside players like Helge Ekroth , Ragnar Wicksell and Theodor Malm in a 2-0 win over the Norwegian national team in the Swedish national team . Initially, however, he was not used in the national team. At the Olympic Games in 1924 he was part of the squad of the selection team, without playing during the tournament he only made a moral contribution to winning the bronze medal. Until his second international match he had to wait until June 14, 1929, in the 3-1 win over Finland he ran on the side of Harry Lundahl , Nils Rosén and Carl-Erik Holmberg .
