Helge Ekroth
August Helge "Ekis" Ekroth (born February 26, 1892 in Stallarholmen , Strängnäs municipality , † November 29, 1950 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish football player .
career
Ekroth played for AIK Solna and won four Swedish championships with the club. He spent the 1913/14 season in England at Leicester Fosse and Tottenham Hotspur , after which he returned to his home club. With teammate Kalle Ansén , he was part of the Swedish national team at the 1912 Olympic Games . He played a total of 18 international matches and scored eight goals.
