This list includes well-known members of the Reichsuniversität Leuven , a liberal and neutral university, founded in Leuven and dissolved in 1835.

In 1817 an imperial university was founded in Leuven, but abolished in 1835 as part of the reorganization of higher education in the Kingdom of Belgium.
