List of the works of Enid Blyton

Enid Blyton (1897–1968) was one of the most famous children's book authors of the 20th century . In addition to the books, she wrote over 10,000 short stories. To this day, the author is internationally one of the most commercially successful authors of young books. Her books have been translated into over 100 languages.

This list of Enid Blyton's works is an incomplete list of more than 750 books by the English author.

It should be noted that the number of books published in a series in the English original and in the German edition can differ significantly. For example, the Dolly series (originally “Malory Towers”) only contains six volumes in the English edition, while a total of eighteen volumes were published in German. Likewise, the "Hanni-und-Nanni" series ("St. Clare's") contains only six volumes in the original English edition. In the two examples mentioned, the additional volumes were published under the name Enid Blytons, but the authorship seems to be with the German children's and youth author Rosemarie Eitzert , who also writes under the pseudonyms Tina Caspari and Claudia Jonas. The Tina and Tini series, published in Germany under the author's name “Enid Blyton”, does not come mainly from Enid Blyton, but, according to the German publisher, was also written by Rosemarie Eitzert. Only the first two volumes are based on books by Enid Blyton - The boy next door and The treasure hunters . Even with the Famous Five - and the puzzle to series more volumes were added in Germany.
