Ev. Chapel of John the Baptist | The Evangelical Chapel of John the Baptist was built in the late Gothic period. It is a rectangular brick building. In front of the entrance on the south side there is a porch with a roof turret, also called the bridal house. Inside there is a winged altar, the middle picture shows a crucifixion and dates from around 1520. The paintings on the wings are from the second half of the 17th century. Inside they show a baptism scene and a Lord's Supper and outside St. George and St. Jacobus. The baptism is possibly from the 15th century. The chandelier is dated to 1762. | 28796386 |
