List of honorary citizens of Bad Muskau
The honorary citizenship is the highest distinction of the city of Bad Muskau . According to § 3 of the main statute of the city of Bad Muskau , it can grant the right to persons who have made a special contribution to the development of the city and the well-being of its citizens. The city council decides on the award; the mayor and the city council parliamentary groups are entitled to propose. Since 1856 seven people have been made honorary citizens.
