List of Mughals
The Turkic-Mongolian rulers of the Indo-Islamic Mughal Empire that existed in India from 1526 to 1858 are referred to as the Great Mughal , Mughal Emperor or just Mughal (also Mughal ) . The Mughals come from the Central Asian dynasty of the Timurids .
The indented names denote throne occupants, who, however, could not prevail.
