Shah Jahan III.
Muhi-ul-Millat (born 1711 ; died 1772 in Delhi ) was Shah Jahan III. 1759 briefly emperor of the Indian Mughal empire . He was the eldest son of Muhi-us-Sunnat Mirza and a great-grandson of Aurangzeb .
After Alamgir II fell victim to an assassination attempt by Imad ul-Mulk in Delhi on November 29, 1759 , Shah Jahan III got on board. with the support of Imad-ul-Mulk the throne. December 24, 1759 - Shah Jahan III. was still in office - Shah Alam II proclaimed himself emperor and was able to assert himself with the help of the Marathas . Shah Jahan III. was deposed after a short reign.
