Swedish Cross | (Map) | approx. 15./16. Century | It is popularly known as the "Swedish Cross". The Swedes also lived in Höpfingen after 1632. On their march to Hardheim, they took a citizen of Höpfingen with them and shot them in the Heidlein district of Wies. Good people would have now erected a memorial to the victims of Sweden in the form of a stone cross.

1617 | Built over 300 years ago by the richest citizen of Höpfingen. At that time probably the most magnificent house in town. Since 2001 the domicile of the local history museum. The old estate is now in the middle of the village and is the oldest completely preserved house in Höpfingen. The museum only extends over the right half of the house (clearly recognizable by the green paint on the plaster), the left half of the house is still inhabited by the descendants of the former builder.
