The list of cultural monuments in Adelsheim includes immovable architectural and art monuments from all parts of the city of Adelsheim . The districts of Adelsheim, Leibenstadt and Sennfeld belong to Adelsheim. The basis for this list is the list of architectural and art monuments published by the Karlsruhe Regional Council .

This list is not legally binding. Legally binding information is only available on request from the Lower Monument Protection Authority of the city of Adelsheim.

1619 “Zum güldenen Hirschen” inn, later town hall, three-storey, stately timber-frame house with a crooked hip roof, marked on the ground floor and on the right-hand corner post on the upper floor in 1619 (built in 1619 as an imperial post office).

1766 Evangelical town church, single-nave building with curved gable, corner pilasters and roof turrets, west portal with coat of arms, north portal with inscription field, marked 1766, renovated in 1848, 1881, 1909/10.


Moated castle

1492 Moated castle, Sennefelder castle or lower castle, three-storey irregular system with hipped roof, originally three components of the previous building from 1492, after the fire of 1734 combined to form a complete system, in the basement two pillars with building inscription and construction time (1734-1738, JJ Rischer), parts of the Former water and weir system (round towers), access bridge and drawbridge piers are available.

Tithe barn Schloßgasse 14/1 1785 Tithe barn, single-storey plastered building with a mansard roof, half-timbered construction in the northern gable field, renovation in the 1980s, since 1986 building site museum, built in 1785 (Alliance coat of arms around 1780 at the entrance).

14th century-15th Century St. Jakobuskirche, single-nave late Gothic building with a polygonal choir, built-on grave chapel, inscribed over the west portal in 1489, eaves side in 1498. Very high quality fittings on grave slabs, memorial stones, epitaphs from the 14th to 18th centuries. Sacraments. Cemetery with part of the old surrounding wall, epitaphs, tombstones, Mount of Olives. (Totality).

synagogue
synagogue Hauptstrasse 43 1836 Synagogue, now a local history museum, built in 1836 in classicist form (possibly originally plastered), two-storey quarry stone building with a strongly protruding gable roof, sandstone structure regularly, symmetrically, partly with round arches; Desecrated in 1938 and destroyed the interior, bought by the city in 1939, then used for agriculture, after renovation in 1962/63 cultural use.

Parish church, built in 1615 (marked) as a hall church with a flat ceiling and joists, choir tower drawn in to the east; Carved galleries in the hall, high-quality furnishings (painting in fittings, stone pulpit with column base, epitaphs, including the founder Margaretha von Carben); associated cemetery with enclosure and several gravestones from the 18th and 19th centuries Century (material entirety).
