Church Katzhütte.JPG location Church with fittings , churchyard and enclosure, bell house with fittings The church was built between 1754 and 1756 in simple baroque architecture. The pulpit altar and the organ front have stylistic features of the Rococo. The organ from 1757 is the work of organ builder Johann Michael Wagner from Schmiedefeld .
Vault bridge at the L1147.jpg Vault bridge on the L 1147 All vehicles that drove from Katzhütte to Neuhaus am Rennweg once drove over this bridge. When traffic increased drastically after the fall of the Wall in 1990, a new bridge was built next to it. The old vault was professionally repaired and the bridge was given its original appearance.

For many years it was the seat of the Princely Schwarzburg Ironworks Inspection. Today the mayor's office, tourist information and community library are located in the building.

Medical center.jpg Oelzer Strasse 12 ( location ) Villa (now medical center) Until the end of the Second World War, the villa belonged to the Rohrbach family, the owners of the ironworks in Katzhütte. After that the building was used as a hospital and an ambulance. Today the Schwarzatal outpatient clinic, a regional medical health center, is located here.

Voigt The mountain church in Oelze was consecrated on July 9, 1769. In 1828 there was a general renovation, in the early 1950s it was rebuilt and rebuilt with a new inauguration on July 19, 1953. The organ dates from 1896 by the organ builder Sauer .

Former Voigtsche Villa.JPG Schwarzburger Strasse 29 ( location ) Former Voigt villa The family of Carl Wilhelm Voigt, owners of the white lead and paint factory, lived in this villa until it was expropriated after the Second World War. After that it belonged to the VEB Farbenfabrik Katzhütte . After the fall of the Wall, the villa was renovated by the current owners and houses a doctor's practice.
