List of Linz excursion inns
In Linz and the surrounding area, there was a tradition of excursion inns , which dwindled in the post-war period and with the advent of motorization in the 1960s. Many traditional inns, especially on Freinberg, closed and the buildings were demolished.

Freinberg

- Binder im Rath, Roseggerstrasse / Freinbergstrasse, a cider tavern, built from 1871 to 1972, demolished
- Jägermayrhof , Römerstraße 98. Originally a forester's house from the 17th century, first mentioned in 1741 as Jägermayrhäusl, an inn from 1762 to 1955, in 1956 a house for refugees, since 1959 a training center for the Chamber of Labor
- Milchmariandl, on Jägermayrstiege (today's residential building Römerstrasse 97), built around 1860 to 1970, demolished
- Paradiesgarten, Römerstraße 92, built around 1860. Since 1952 the building has housed a municipal kindergarten
- Wienerwald , Freinbergstrasse 18
- To the beautiful view, on the Freienberg with 360 ° panoramic view, built 1868 to 1970, demolished. The Franz-Josefs-Warte was built next to the inn in 1888

St. Peter
In St. Peter / Zizlau there were several inns until 1938, it was a popular excursion destination for the people of Linz. Today the Vöest stands here.

- Kupferkanne, Traundorfer Strasse / Moosfelderstrasse, Ebelsberg, opposite the old Ebelsberg train station. The inn had to be demolished in 2005 due to the expansion of the Westbahn station to 4 tracks.
