The list of carnival clubs in Mainz currently contains 75 Mainz carnival clubs (as of 2011). The highest number of start-ups was in 1974 with five start-ups, followed in 1947 with four, then with three start-ups each in 1877, 1886, 1960, 1981, 2013 and 2014.
