This is a list of the Ministries of the Republika Srpska . The government under Prime Minister Željka Cvijanović ( SNSD ) is divided into 16 ministries.

The Ministries of the Republika Srpska are the highest authorities in the Republika Srpska, each headed by a minister. There are no superordinate authorities or ministers with the same area of ​​responsibility, for example at the level of the entire state of Bosnia and Herzegovina . The ministries of the state as a whole are accordingly not authorized to issue instructions to the ministries of the Republika Srpska.

According to the constitution of the Republika Srpska, the ministries are proportionally formed from the ethnic relationship from which the population in the Republika Srpska was formed in 1991. Therefore, the ministries are each composed of eight Serbs, five Bosniaks, three Croats and a minister appointed by the Prime Minister who is elected from the ethnic group with the majority of the population, which can also be a Serb.
