Soviet memorial with green area built around 1950; the monument is partly on the territory of the Brandenburg community Schöneiche near Berlin and is also a cultural monument of the state of Brandenburg. Berlin, on the bottom of which it lies for the most part, runs the complex as a garden monument. Protected landscape components

17 parks and green areas are subject to special protection according to the “statute of the Schöneiche community on parks and green areas as protected landscape components”. In the three paragraphs of the statute, the protective purpose as well as the protective measures are specified: parks and green spaces are seen as a revitalization and structure of the site as well as to support the forest character of the place and, according to the statute, have considerable importance and recreational value for the community.

Former natural monuments

A total of 20 individual trees were placed under protection in 1956, the protection of which no longer exists in the 21st century. However, some still exist - some only as torsos (four oaks, two plane trees, a copper beech, a Cornelian cherry and an ash). They are mostly located on private property.
