Janice Hadlow

Janice Hadlow (* 1957 in Lewisham ) is a British media manager .

Life

Hadlow graduated from King's College London with a degree in history in 1978 . She started her media career as an intern at the BBC in 1986. From 1987 to 1989 she was a producer at BBC Radio 4 .

From 1993 to 1995 Hadlow worked in the BBC's music and arts department, after which she became co-director of the history department.

In 1999 she moved to Channel 4 . There she headed the history department. In 2004 Hadlow returned to the BBC to become director of the BBC Four television network. In 2008, Hadlow joined BBC Two as a director .

Janice Hadlow is married and has two children.

Her first book was published in October 2014 ( A Royal Experiment: The Private Life of King George III ).
