Anne Sewcz
Anne Sewcz (* 1958 in Schwerin ) is a German sculptor .
Life
Anne Sewcz studied from 1977 to 1982 at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art . She then worked as a freelance sculptor in Rostock , and from 2004 in Crivitz . Since 1982 she has participated in national and international symposia. In 1992 she received a scholarship from the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for a stay at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris . In the same year she received a scholarship from the Mecklenburg Künstlerhaus at Schloss Plüschow and in 1995 a scholarship from the Berlin Cultural Fund Foundation .
From 1996 to 2001 Anne Sewcz had a teaching position at the Caspar David Friedrich Institute in Greifswald .
She received further scholarships in 2000 (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), 2002 (Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin) and in 2012 an exchange scholarship from the artist house Lukas in Ahrenshoop in the Villa Muramaris on Gotland .
