On September 8th he was taken to the Heuberg camp and tortured on the orders of the commandant. He was murdered on September 9, 1933 after torture the day before by two SA men in building 21 of the Heuberg camp. The invitation to transfer said: Salomon Leibowitsch was the only inmate for whom a direct murder on the Heuberg could be proven .
