The following lists provide information about the student and pupil associations in the Upper Bavarian city of Rosenheim . Up until the Second World War there were at least 16 corporations at the different schools and the Rosenheim wood technology center . After the Second World War, only the Abituria Oberrealschule and the TWV Teutonia were reactivated. In the second half of the 20th century, the Abitur became inactive. In 1984 a new connection came to Rosenheim with the KTV Winfridia Frankenhausen, which coexisted as an active connection with the TWV Teutonia until 2007 and has also been inactive since then. The youngest connection is SV Absolvia, which sees itself in the tradition of the student union of the same name at the Humanist Gymnasium Rosenheim , which was founded in 1899 at the latest and was reactivated in 2011 with the help of TWV Teutonia.

Student associations

In addition to Teutonia, there were formerly at least seven other student associations of different corporate orientations and umbrella organizations in Rosenheim . In addition to those listed in the table, there are TV Eichenhorst and the Helvetia team. The former was founded by six students on July 1, 1925 with the colors black-white-green and was solemnly united with TWV Teutonia on November 27, 1925. Helvetia was founded by Swiss students in the winter semester 1930/31 as a connection with a classic compatriot character and only existed for a few semesters. All student associations incorporate (t) their members at the TH Rosenheim or their predecessors, the HS Rosenheim, the FH Rosenheim and the Holztechnikum Rosenheim. In addition to these student organizations existed in the first half of the 20th century, a Corp Philistines Association of KSCVs . In addition, the CHTR ("Club Hochschule und Fachschule Rosenheim", formerly Club Holztechnikum Rosenheim) has been active since 1926, but does not see itself as a student association, but as an informal, comradely association of students.

Student connections

Up until the Second World War in particular, Rosenheim enjoyed a flourishing life of fraternity. There were student associations at all educational institutions; on some, several. Of the three connections of the former humanistic grammar school, today's Ignaz Günther grammar school , at least one was striking . It is also worth mentioning the three girls' associations, which in this number were not a matter of course for a small town like Rosenheim back then.
