The list of the towers of the city fortifications of Stuttgart gives an overview of the towers that once belonged to the city fortifications of Stuttgart .

The city fortifications of Stuttgart once comprised ten towers, only one of which has been preserved. Most of the towers were demolished as the city expanded in the 19th century.

Kastkellereiturm 1564 Weberstrasse 72 Round tower with a polygonal framework. After the old Schellenturm was demolished in 1811, the name Schellenturm was transferred to this tower.
Message tower 1451 1820 Wilhelmsplatz 6 Built from stones from Weißenburg Castle , hence the White Tower . Used by the messenger in his function as a skinner for drying animal skins.
Torture tower 1566 1870 Paulinenstrasse 30 Round tower on a corner of the city fortifications. Built by Duke Christoph , hence the Stoffelsturm . Formerly a massive square tower that was demolished down to the first floor in 1821.
Powder tower 1566 1818 Weimarstrasse / Hohe Strasse Location of the black powder . It was supposed to be torn down again in 1577 and was therefore shot at, but withstood the shot and was used for a long time after repairs.
Willermanns Tower 1538 1832 Schulstrasse The square tower with a half-timbered tower was connected to the city bailiwick by a corridor and served as a city prison or prison for those sentenced to death. Has been called the Willermanns Tower since 1606 .
