The following list shows all 27 bearers of the oak leaves with swords and diamonds for the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross . Thereafter it was given to twelve members of the Luftwaffe , eleven members of the army and two each from the Navy and the Waffen SS .

The minimum requirement for being awarded the Oak Leaves with Swords and Diamonds was the previous award of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. Skipping a stage was not allowed.
