The church with buttresses is a late Gothic building, built around 1500, which was extended to the west in the 19th century. The west tower with pyramid helmet is from 1843. The nave is vaulted with net ribs, the choir is vaulted with ribs. On the high altar with a rosary Madonna picture (around 1700) is a Gothic seated figure of St. Nicholas (around 1420).

The late Gothic church was built in the 16th century over a Romanesque predecessor and was expanded in 1963/64 with a large southern hall building. A Gothic fresco was transferred to the west wall of the new building.

The blast furnace was built in 1848 and shut down in 1883. The facility consists of a tower-like structure in the Tudor style and the so-called elevator house, which today serves as a residential building. The rough walls of the blast furnace and the ground floor of the elevator house are made of slate gneiss, the rest of the brick construction.
