List of prophets in Africa
The list of prophets in Africa is based on the work Prophets in Africa by the ethnologist Katesa Schlosser reproduced a list of various prophets or religious leaders of Africa , who come from ancient indigenous religions, from Islam and missionary Christianity from various Protestant churches ( London Mission , Rhenish Mission , Bremen Mission , Church Mission Society , Salvation Army , English Methodist Mission , American Methodist Mission , English Baptist Mission , American Baptist Mission , American Board of Missions and others).
The overview begins with the prophetess Al-Kahina , who opposed the Arab invasion of north-west Africa , who already treated Ibn Khaldun in his history of the Berbers from a distance of seven hundred years, and extends to the first half of the 20th century, when the influence of the Christian missions had reached their zenith.
