The grapevine comes in different varieties , which are known as grape varieties . The list of grape varieties contains more than 1500 entries, based on data from 48 countries from 2010 according to the source Anderson / Aryal. This list was supplemented with further varieties, which are described in Wikipedia; there are no surface areas for these varieties.
