from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rainbow Warrior (German: "Regenbogenkrieger") is or was the name of three ships of the environmental protection organization Greenpeace .

Surname

The name comes from a legend first published in 1962 in the book Warriors of the Rainbow by William Willoya and Vinson Brown . In it, an Indian woman prophesies to a little boy that after the earth was devastated and the animals died, a new tribe would come into the world, consisting of people of many colors, classes and beliefs. This would make the earth green again by their actions and warriors of the rainbow ( Warriors of the Rainbow ) are called.
