The Lithuanian Children and Youth Center (lit. Lietuvos vaikų ir jaunimo centras , LVJC ) is the largest institution for non-formal school education in Lithuania . It is located in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius (in Šnipiškės , Konstitucijos prospektas ). The center has 187 employees (as of 2014) (2011: 230 employees). The center was established on November 10, 1992.

The center offers a variety of courses and activities for children, teenagers, and adults; for example offers in the fields of sport, chess (trainer Algirdas Bandza ), dance, art, music, creativity and personal development. Activities for people with disabilities are also organized. The center is responsible for developing non-formal education programs, teacher training, personal development projects, in support of the tolerant and creative society, festivals (such as the dance festival "On the Roof" with 1,500 participants).

The center offers 200 courses for children and youth work, leisure time for people of all ages. There is a sports hall , a swimming pool , programs for the whole family, special exercises for expectant mothers, many aerobics classes. In addition to the sporting activities, you can attend educational events in English, ceramics, dance courses, workshops and seminars on topics related to child development.

Since 2014, the center is a national coordinator for Lithuania in the International Youth Program The Duke of Edinburgh 's International Award .
