The Lithang Monastery or Chamchen Chökhorling (Jamchen Chokhorling) monastery is an important monastery of the Gelug School in the Tibetan cultural region of Kham . It is located in Litang County, which is part of the administrative area of ​​the Garzê (Kardze) Tibetan Autonomous District in the northwest of the Chinese province of Sichuan . The monastery was founded in 1580 by the 3rd Dalai Lama .

It was rebuilt after the Cultural Revolution.
