Litto Nebbia
Litto Nebbia (born July 21, 1948 in Rosario ; real name Félix Francisco Nebbia Corbacho ) is an Argentine rock singer and tango musician and one of the pioneers of rock music in Spanish-speaking countries.
In the early 1960s, Nebbia founded the tango rock band Los Gatos Salvajes , which appeared as Los Gatos from 1967 . He worked here mainly as a singer and composer. In 1967 he recorded a single with the Los Gatos entitled La Balsa by the singer and multi-instrumentalist Tanguito , which sold more than 200,000 copies. After this success, Nebbia began a solo career, in 1969 his first solo album was released under the title Litto Nebbia . The Los Gatos disbanded in 1971.
In the early 1970s he founded the Huinca group for experimental music with Oscar Moro , Cacho Lafalce and Gabriel Ranelli , and in 1973 the Litto Nebbia Trio , a jazz formation. During the military dictatorship in Argentina, Nebbia emigrated to Mexico in 1976, where he composed his best-known song Sólo se trata de vivir . In the early 1980s he returned to Argentina and in May 1983 gave a concert with Juan Carlos Baglietto , Silvina Garre , Fito Paez and Jorge Fandermote .
In 1986 Nebbia's fiftieth album was released. With his label Melopea (founded 1974) Nebbia released around 200 recordings by musicians such as Juan Carlos Cobián , Enrique Cadícamo , Roberto Goyeneche and Gustavo Cuchi Leguizamón . In 1994 a biography of Nebbias appeared on the four-part CD Paginas De Vida . In 1995 he recorded the album Nebbia Canta Cadícamo with Tangos by Enrique Cadícamo.
