Little Langdale is a valley in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The valley extends west of the village of Skelwith Bridge . The valley is separated from the Great Langdale valley in the north by the Lingmoor Fell . At the western end of the valley, the Wrynose Pass connects to the Duddon Valley . To the south the valley is bounded by the Tilberthwaite Fells with Wetherlam and Swirl How .

Little Langdale was the home of the moonshine Lanty Slee and a transit point for smugglers.
