The Little Salmon Lake ( English for "small salmon lake") is a lake in the Canadian Yukon Territory .
Little Salmon Lake is 65 km east of Carmacks and 160 km north of Whitehorse . The lake extends over a length of 32 km in an east-west direction. Its maximum width is 2 km. It lies at an altitude of about 600 m . Little Salmon Lake is over 140 m deep. The lake is fed by the Magundy River and Drury Creek at its eastern end . At the western end, the Little Salmon River leaves the lake and flows west to the Yukon River . The Yukon Highway 4 (Robert Campbell Highway) runs along the north shore of the lake. The up to 1752 m high mountain range of the Little Salmon Range extends along the north bank . South of the lake lies the 1,784 m high Snowcap Mountain . There is a state campground at Little Salmon Lake.
