Litzelhof: windows with scratch-plaster decor

The Litzelhof, southwest of the parish church in Sagritz in the municipality of Großkirchheim, was owned by the Admont Abbey as a provost's yard from the 12th century to 1529 . Then Siegmund von Dietrichstein bought the property . The current building was probably built in the Renaissance style at the end of the 16th century by the Putz von Kircheim family, the owners of Großkirchheim Palace . In 1935, a residential building was added to the dominant building with an angular, open floor plan on the southeast side. During the exterior restoration in 1988, the architectural decor of the 16th century was restored. Most of the plaster from the time of construction has been preserved on the facades. The windows have scratch-plaster decor, some of the corners have ashlar decor.

One room on the ground floor is equipped with stitch caps and mesh stucco ridges, two other rooms have wall paneling and coffered ceilings from the 16th century. On the second floor there is a portal marked 1703 with a supraporte , the side pilasters and cheeks made of acanthus tendrils . An oval medallion with the Litzelhofer's coat of arms is attached to the overhang.
