Liu Cheng-chieh (born February 9, 1994 ) is a Taiwanese pool player .

Career

In May 2011, Liu reached the sixteenth finals of the 10-Ball World Championship , but lost to the eventual finalist Fu Jianbo 3: 9. A month later he was eliminated from the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Cup without a win. In November 2012, Liu finished fifth at the All Japan Open , a few weeks later he became Junior World Champion with a 9: 5 final victory over German Tobias Bongers . At the 9-Ball World Cup in 2014 , Liu reached the finals of a world championship for the second time, but lost to Raymund Faraon in the round of 64 . After Liu was eliminated in the preliminary round at the 10-Ball World Cup 2015 , he made it to the round of 32 at the 9-Ball World Cup 2015 , in which he was defeated by Poland Wojciech Szewczyk 8:11.
