Liu Wen ( Chinese  劉 雯  /  刘 雯 , Pinyin Liú Wén ; born January 27, 1988 in Yongzhou , Hunan ) is a Chinese model .

Career

Liu Wen was discovered in a 2005 modeling competition. Her mother registered her, but only to work on her posture. She didn't win the competition, but the fashion industry noticed her. In 2008 she was signed to the agency “Marilin” in Paris. From this year she was booked internationally as a catwalk model for shows by Burberry , Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier . In 2009, she became the first East Asian model to walk on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show . She stood in front of the camera in advertising campaigns for Hugo Boss , Diesel , Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder . She was featured as a cover model on Chinese editions of Elle and Vogue .
