Liu Yang ( Chinese  刘洋 , Pinyin Liú Yáng ; born September 10, 1994 in Liaoning ) is a Chinese gymnast . His greatest success so far is winning the gold medal on the rings at the 2014 World Gymnastics Championships in Nanning . At the World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow in 2015 , he won the bronze medal in his discipline.
