Liu Zhang ( Chinese  劉 章 ), posthumous title Prince Jing of Chengyang ( 城 陽 景 王 ; † 177 BC ), was a prince of the Han dynasty in China . His parents were Liu Fei , Prince of Qi, and his wife Si, making Liu Zhang a grandson of Emperor Gaozu of Han . He was born in 186 BC. Appointed Marquis of Zhuxu by the emperor's grandmother Lü Zhi and married to the daughter of her nephew Lü Lu. She also called him to the capital, Chang'an , where he served as the Imperial Guard Commander.

For his participation in the coup against the Lü family in 180, Liu Zhang had originally been promised the title of Prince of Zhao and the lands belonging to it. However, when Emperor Wen learned that Liu Zhang originally wanted his brother Liu Xiang to be emperor, he only awarded him the title of Prince of Chengyang from the lands of his recently deceased brother in 178 . Unlike his brother Liu Xingju , Liu Zhang did not take revenge on the emperor, but managed his country so well that the people worshiped him like a deity after his death the next year.
