Liziane Bayer da Costa (born January 24, 1981 in São Pedro do Sul , Rio Grande do Sul ) is a Brazilian politician ( PSB ). She has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the state of Rio Grande do Sul since 2019 .

Career

On October 5, 2014, Bayer was elected member of the 54th legislative period of the Rio Grande do Sul Legislative Assembly (ALERGS) with 29,121 or 0.48% of the valid votes , which will run from February 1 to February 1, when the term ends 2019 belonged. She was appointed Vice-President of the Legislative Assembly for 2017/18 by the PSB. Her sister Franciane Bayer (PSB) did the same, she was elected to the 55th legislative period of the ALERGS.

In the 2018 election , Bayer was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul with 52,900 (0.91%) votes , a position she has held since February 1, 2019. In July 2019, she introduced the “Você decide” initiative so that the citizens of her constituency can set the priorities for their work in the Chamber of Deputies. In addition, Bayer campaigned against the decriminalization of drugs as a member of parliament.

In addition to her political career, Bayer is pastor of the São Paulo- based Pentecostal Church Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus .
