Lyuben Vasilev
Lyuben Iliew Wassilew ( Bulgarian Любен Василев ; born August 22, 1911 in Shumen , † February 9, 1971 in Moscow ) was a Bulgarian lawyer.
Life
Vasilev studied law in Sofia . He continued his specializing in 1934/35 in Austria and France . From 1948 to 1971 he was Head of the Chair of Civil Law at Sofia University . He was also director of the Law Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences between 1950 and 1971 .
Vasilev was involved in drafting the constitution and civil law in what was then a socialist -oriented Bulgaria.
