Lloque Yupanqui
Lloque Yupanqui , according to the Peruvian Quechua spelling Lluq'i Yupanki , was the third ruler (Sinchi) of the Kingdom of Qusqu ( Cuzco ) of the Incas (around the year 1260 ). He was the son of Sinchi Roca and father of the later Sinchi Mayta Cápac .
His reign was marked by battles between his people, the Incas , with the Walla (Spanish spelling: Hualla), natives of Qusqu.
Lluq'i means “left” or “left-handed” in Quechua , while Yupanki can be associated with the verb yupay (to count, literally: “you count”).
