Lloyd Marshall

Lloyd Marshall (* 4. June 1914 in Madison County , Georgia , USA ; † 4. August 1967 ) was an American boxer in the middleweight division . Frank Doljack was his first manager - after that he was managed by Johnny Rogers until his retirement.

Marshall lost his professional debut on September 11, 1936 against his compatriot Al LaBoa in a 6-round bout unanimously on points. He also lost his last three fights.

Although Marshall never became world champion, he was inducted into both the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1996 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2010 . Because he had a long career and played a total of 99 fights, of which he was able to win 70 (36 of them by knockout ) - in 25 battles he had to admit defeat, 4 were drawn.
