Lo Fat Orchestra
Lo Fat Orchestra is a three-piece low fidelity pop band from Schaffhausen , Switzerland . The band mostly does without guitar and only plays their songs live with bass , home organs and drums . Lo Fat Orchestra was founded by Christoph Schmid, Daniel Zimmermann and Thorsten Strohmeier. The band usually releases their releases on the Hamburg record label Sounds of Subterrania . So far, the band has released three albums and two maxi singles. On their last album the second word is love was the song going with the punks, which became a small hit in indie circles. The record received 10 (out of 10) points in the music magazine Ox . Thorsten Strohmeier left the band at the end of 2014. Since the beginning of 2015 Roman Stäheli has been playing bass with the Lo Fat Orchestra.
