New Indian Library

The New Indian Library is a collection of direct translations from Southeast Asian literatures. This series appeared from 1983 in Edition Meersch ( Freiburg im Breisgau ) and was supervised by Lothar Lutze and Rainer Kimmig . From 1991 this collection was in the program of the publishing house in the Waldgut . This series was initiated and supported by the Society for the Promotion of Literature from Africa, Asia and Latin America eV in Frankfurt am Main . The book series was published in sixteen volumes from 1983 to 1994.
